Didi Pershouse has received a grant from the Anne Slade Frey Charitable Trust to give talks on sustainability and health care in Transition Towns. (Transition Towns are dedicated to building communities that are resilient in the face of dwindling oil supplies, global warming, and economic crises.) Upcoming talks include “Sustainable Medicine: Health Care After Oil” on September 30th (6:30 PM) at Waitsfield Elementary School Waitsfield VT, and “Creating a Healthcare Inventory for Transition Towns” on October 21st (6 PM) at the Hubbard Library in Montpelier, Vermont. Didi Pershouse also teaches Introductory Classes in Homeopathic Medicine and Acupuncture as a Low Cost Treatment for PTSD, and is doing a series of talks on “Cholesterol Hype: the Dangers of Statin Drugs and the Benefits of Butter” Check back soon for a date for a film series at Lightgate Learning Center.
