Mark Harding is a performer and educator with over 25 years experience and an honors graduate of Berklee College of Music. A multi-instrumentalist well-versed in numerous styles, Mark is one of the most versatile musicians you will ever meet. He performs extensively on upright bass, electric bass, guitar, harmonica, and vocals and has a busy private teaching practice established over ten years.

He is a member of several groups and offers a wide variety of musical options to suit all your needs, and the friendly advice of an expert who wants to help you make the right entertainment choice. He can offer live music to accommodate almost any budget, from a solo performer to a big band, and will work hard to meet both your financial and your musical needs and to ensure you are delighted by the music at your event or venue.

LessonsMark has been offering private guitar and bass lessons since 1995 and has built a reputation as a teacher who combines great efficiency of learning and a strong rapport with students of all ages. He was the full-time band director at the Long Trail School in Dorset, VT for seven years and has served as an adjunct professor at Castleton State College and as an instrumental instructor at Burr and Burton Academy in Manchester, VT.

RecordingsMark appears on several CD's as both leader and sideman all of which can be ordered on the recordings page. He has recorded music for television and radio also and his original music is available for licensing.
