- An Established and Experienced, General Practice of Law -
I have over twenty years experience as an attorney and counselor at law. I am a member of both the Vermont Bar Association and the Vermont Trial Lawyers Association as well as having been President of the Franklin Grand Isle Counties Bar Association. My general law practice is before all Vermont State and Federal Courts and includes Personal Injury and Accidents, Workers' Compensation, Divorce, Child Support and Family Law, Trials and Appeals, Consumer Law, Corporations, Partnerships and Business Law, Real Estate including Purchases, Sales and Refinancing, Boundary Disputes, Social Security Disability, Wills, Probate and Zoning. I pride myself on treating each client's case individually and with particular personal attention to detail, communication, and successful outcome. I also believe in making sure that I am as accessible as possible to my clients and so, for example, I always answer my own phone whenever I'm in the office.
- Links of Interest -
As the Web grows larger, more and more information and resources become accessible. This is as true in the area of the law as in any other area of human endeavor. I like to keep things simple, easy and as straight forward as possible and in areas related to my practice. I update them periodically and/or irregularly. Of course, these links offer other links that can be references in their own right to a further search for pertinent information. - Sensible Internet Disclaimer -
Obviously, I am not your lawyer nor are you my client simply by virtue of your viewing this page. If you wish to discuss a case, please send me a short description of the facts along with your name, address, and phone number. I only handle Vermont cases. Also, please remember that since unencrypted e-mail is not confidential, you should be very general in your description. In accepting e-mail inquiries, I can not and do not begin an attorney-client relationship, nor can I, or have I, accepted the case. This can only occur after we discuss your case in person and I am then formally retained by mutual agreement.
