What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is an ancient healing technique that has been used in China for over 4,000 years. Using subtle electromagnetic impulses, acupuncture needles tap into the body's own natural resources for healing various disharmonies. It has been recognized that acupuncture treats a variety of disorders and the World Health Organization (WHO) has recognized over 40 health issues that it treats effectively. These include but are not limited to:
Herbs and Teas
Watercourse Way has selected high quality herbs and teas from around the world. The Chinese herbs are tested for heavy metals and are sulfur-free while the Western herbs provided are certified organic and/or wild-crafted from their native environment. The herbs are available for bulk sale and can be formulated by the herbalists to suit the individual's present conditions. The teas chosen are of superior quality imported from East Asia where the source is as important as the product. The importers work directly with the growers to know exactly where the tea comes from. There are also herbal teas which are blended by Watercourse Way for taste and healing effects and are caffeine free. The tea ware for serving and for sale is authentic hand-crafted earthen pottery and lead-free.
"The highest good is like water, for the good of water is that it nourishes everything without striving. It occupies the place which is the lowest level. It is thus that the Tao in the world is like a river going down the valley to the ocean."
